Social events

It is tradition to have a Welcome reception on the evening of the first day of the Congress, and a Gala dinner and Competition Award Ceremony on the last evening (third day), to gather all delegates to exchange, network and celebrate.

After the day’s activities, the Welcome reception will be held at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices to celebrate the beginning of the 13th edition of the Congress, welcoming all Congress delegates. This motionless vessel was built in 1886 directly on the river Rhône to supply Geneva’s households with drinking water and also to regulate the level of the lake. The beautiful building was later converted into a welcoming and prestigious hall and auditorium in the heart of Geneva.
